I love Infographics! And this week each blog post will feature a new infographic. Some will be social media oriented, or business marketing based. However, an Infographic will definitely grace the pages of this blog.
Today's Infographic deals with Cancer and the highest rates of cancer in the United States. I live in Missouri and it happens to have a very high rate of cancer compared to the other 49 states. My father died of lung cancer and just two weeks ago I lost an aunt to breast and lung cancer after being in remission 12 years. According to NowSourcing, "Did you know that where you live might put you at a higher risk of getting cancer? Environmental factors account for an estimated 75-80% of cancer cases and deaths in the U.S. This first infographic provides a map of America’s cancer hot spots and information about cancers certain carcinogens cause as well as household items you might want to avoid using." The following Infographic will certainly spark some watercooler discussions and comments. Leave them below, tell me, what state do you live in?
