How to Make Your Autoresponder Smarter {VIDEO}

Want to know how to make your autoresponder smarter? There are a couple of tricks I learned while fine tuning my email marketing skills, and a couple of them is to pay attention to the time the email is sent as it relates to how many opens my messages got.

First, look at when subscribers are opening your emails and/or clicking your links (the Opens over Time and Clicks Over Time reports will show you this) and adjust your send windows so your messages stand out at the top of the inbox during those times!
Or, run a weekend sale – schedule one of your follow ups to only send on Friday mornings!
See, sometimes my readers opened more of the email marketing messages I sent to them during early morning time periods versus later afternoon time periods. I learned to "Avoid days and times that don’t work for your subscribers." Because after all, it's all about the reader, and not me. Below is a video I want to share with you that will help you avoid the same mistakes I made with my autoresponder. I learned how to make my autoresponder smarter!

Article Writing and the Email Marketer

After Congress passed the CAN SPAM Act and it became law in 2004, you cannot legally send bulk marketing emails without the express consent of the recipients. If you do, you will be fined heavily. The law provides fines for up to $11,000 per incident. So...there you have it! You either have an opt-in list or you will have to find another way to make a living. One of the best ways to build your opt-in list is to write and market articles. Each time an article that you have written and submitted to an article bank for use by other website owners and ezine publishers, every name on their lists are exposed to a link to your website. If the articles are good and filled with relevant information, they can produce much traffic and many new opt-in subscribers. It isn't hard to write a marketable article. Marketable articles are short...only 300 to 400 words. The key ingredients...

Are You Successful Because of God, or Is It You?

I just read this article published by Marketo, titled: "The God Complex and the Importance of Trial and Error, " written by Jason Miller, it discussed a scenario where a company which wants to make detergent discovers how using a process of trial and error. The gist of the article summizes to create the theory which states do successful people have a God complex in which they refuse to believe, no matter the situation, that their way of thinking, their ideas are wrong regardless of the "complexity of the situation." Let me tell you why that article sticks out to me. I have been marketing successfully and unsuccessfully at times on the internet since 2001. I've had my super successful times as well as times when I've just plain walked away from projects. There was a period where internet marketing programs paid my bills for three years and financed lavish vacations to the Caribbean and other wonderful places many people...
